Education & Outreach

KDIC runs multiple financial literacy programmes to reach depositors across Kenya through a variety of channels.

Mass Media Campaigns

KDIC runs regular radio and TV campaigns on national and community stations to educate the public about deposit insurance, bank safety, and their rights as depositors.

County Roadshows

KDIC conducts county-level financial literacy roadshows reaching depositors across Kenya — in urban centres and rural communities — with face-to-face education sessions.

School Partnerships

Through partnerships with the Ministry of Education and secondary schools, KDIC delivers financial literacy content to students as part of the national financial education curriculum.

Digital Outreach

KDIC's social media platforms, website, and KDIC Learn portal provide always-on digital financial literacy resources accessible to all Kenyans.

Free self-paced online courses covering deposit insurance, banking consumer rights, and financial wellbeing — available to individuals and professionals.

SME & Women's Groups

Targeted financial literacy sessions for SME owners, women's groups, and youth enterprises focusing on safe banking, deposits, and consumer protection.
